Art in Action gives opportunities to all ages in the community to learn new creative skills. Through these skills it is then the aim to brighten up spaces in the community using these skills or through installing the work made in the sessions.
Art in Action takes four forms; workshops at the Creative Futures hub, pop-up workshops at community events, creat- ing art work with groups in public spaces and through schools/group visits.
So far the Art in Action has provided two mosaic projects, a mural project and an October Art Week with the Lochside and Lincluden community and school children.
Up and coming projects include a bottle top mural for a community garden, mural painting with a local youth club and more workshops for the community.
